About This Blog

This blog examines how contemporary society deals with grief (specifically due to loss from death). Is there "room" for grief in our culture? How do people generally treat those who are grieving? In what ways could society be more sensitive to those who are grieving? When grief is portrayed in popular culture, is it done so accurately? What resources are available to those who are grieving? This blog aims to answer all of these questions. Our goals are to raise awareness of what grief is really like and to inspire greater sensitivity toward those who are walking life's most difficult road.
